FALSE is a 2D top-down horror game built in a retro pixel art style.

You wake up in a decaying facility, unsure how you got there. The silence feels wrong  and then you notice him.

He’s not your friend, but not your enemy either. He just exists. Watching. Moving. Appearing when you least expect it. Sometimes he’ll just stand there, silent. Sometimes he’ll mock you. And sometimes, he’ll chase you. No one really knows what he is !!  only that he’s always nearby. 

Your goal is simple: solve the puzzles, find the golden key, and escape before he finds you. But remember — every sound, every light, every move you make could give you away.

Controls

WASD — Move

E — Interact with doors and objects

X — Progress certain missions

Z — Open your mysterious book

TAB — Turn your flashlight on or off

SHIFT — Run 

Objective

 Explore the rooms, piece together fragments of the system, and uncover what happened inside this place. Collect clues, solve the puzzles, and find the golden key that unlocks the main door. If you hear him nearby… hide or run. If he finds you, it’s already too late.

FALSE was made to create that classic pixel horror feel — simple, quiet, but deeply unsettling. It's about the fear of being watched, the tension of solving puzzles while knowing something is moving in the dark with you. Play with headphones if you can. And remember  you are not alone.
